Things that present/future kids will never understand!

#Feeling Nostalgic

The good old days when life was so much simpler..

The FLASHBACK of the 90’ you have memories of these?

1450625158696639631There was a time when computers had an A Drive (A:) and we used floppy disks 🙂

They came in different colors..they bring fond memories. I can’t even begin to imagine the games we used to save on them, 2 small games maximum on 1 floppy. A big game would need 4 floppies and then u’d have to merge them together 🙂

~ It’s weird to think that once we actually had to wait centuries for Internet connection. Remember this gorgeous noise? That’s the sound of patience, dwindling and dying 🙂

No Caller ID’sbeetel-b11-landline-phone-red-20131226185149._beetel-b-11-landline-phone-dark-red

Every phone call was a mystery! Now we can choose to proactively avoid and ignore people.

The Walkman’s with AM/FM.. (not men who walk but music players 😀 ) Long-journeys were incomplete without this, carrying extra batteries

..and music we heard. Indi-pop, the likes of Alisha Chinoi, Shaan, Lucky Ali, Adnan Sami and Sonu Nigam sang their way into our hearts. Indi-pop is dead now, the very thought of Yo-yo Honey Singh sends a shudder. Many a music shop are shut down 🙁

Games: Super Mario, Dave, Alladin, Caveman and Roadrash. They were not just games, it was happiness 🙂

Mario, the DOS game
Dave, the DOS game
I loved roadrash, I cannot ride in real life

..and of course so many more memories. Miss those days, miss the times we spent with friends, we hardly have the time now for.

One of my favorite movies, The Titanic <3 and as young boys many of us would watch our favorite scene over and over again

Jack was a professional artist, we were professional viewers

Let’s get this out of the way – there was SO enough space on that raft, Rose. You and
Jack could still be alive now, reminiscing about your Titanic romance <3

Instead we were left with a grief that will never fade.

Some things I’d never understand
