She ended her story
…there’s nothing like the laughter of a baby, unless it’s 1 a.m. and you’re home alone.

It was already late, the party had unnecessarily dragged with Janice suggesting that Marian narrate her award winner horror story to all of them one last time. It was different reading it from the book and having to hear it live.

They were not quite the same people once the story ended.
10 years later
Not known for remembering to do her homework, little Suzy decided to pull out her mothers book and narrate THE STORY to her classmates not knowing the impact of what the story had to those who listened to it.

My first attempt at flirting with the prospect of writing horror. Very light I suppose this post was, in what I was trying to put across.

I hope to develop my writing skills in this genre as well. Let’s see how that goes over time.

Suggestions, tips..anything!

  1. I was interested. But you left it far too early. How about developing this into a full-fledged story? Maybe even a short series or a trilogy? I’d totally love that.

    1. I don’t know how to do that…I’ve never ventured here before

      1. You can start by creating the climax of the story in your mind or on a page and then building backwards from it. That’ll give you an idea of how to and how much to write.
You can also take up any one character and go with him/her as the flow takes you.
There will be mental blocks but if you keep at it, there’s no reason you won’t cook up a darn good story.
        All the best. 🙂
