What to write?

Every time I log into WordPress, it is like I am asked the question “What are you going to write about today?” and though I have no particular answer to that question, I end up writing something or the other and I surprise myself after having completed the blogpost

“Have I just written that?” and I smile to myself and say, I must be gooooooooood πŸ™‚ to make things up and put them on my blog and that is the way I take my blog forward. There is no particular flow of thought that goes into my typing out a post, but random thoughts that come to me while having breakfast or watching tv or maybe listening to a song…one word, just one word is enough for me to write a post about it πŸ™‚

Blogging is hard work, I know of so many bloggers who have quit after writing just a few blogs while others have marched on. I may be only 612 posts old, but I am here and here to stay. For a blog that has no specific theme, writing about anything that I feel like and being acknowledged by my followers (likes/comments) spurs me to write more.

I am not going anywhere! Until of course I don’t wake up to see a new day..which does not look like happening anytime soon (touch wood) or who knows?

As bloggers where do you get ideas from? Where does your inspiration come from?

  1. To observe is to look specifically at people, places and things. If we observe on a daily basis, if we are always looking, we will come up with ideas on a daily basis. I guess I observe more in last few months…. Sometimes remember the past and then again come in present…. Read other blogs and see if I have something to add to….. Silly thoughts come, I try to play with these thoughts and write….. I write here not to IMPRESS but to EXPRESS myself….. This helps I guess

  2. Good job Savio. Ur posts are always entertaining… and comments trail is all the more…. well… i write blog to improve my language and the ability to express.. i look at my blog as a tool of exercise for cultivating the habbit of writing a lot as well as engrossing the readers. I want to master this before i author a book 😊

  3. rightly said, even a single word can give us the inspiration to write a post. The more we observe the more we get topics to write about. Writing doesn’t need to have a theme compulsion.. it should be connecting! whether connecting the emotions or interest.. πŸ™‚
I am just some 100+ old… but your 600+ gave me the hope, I can write more! πŸ˜‰

  4. Hey Congratulations, that’s a big score πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
And for ideas, I would say, READ a lot, pick up any random word and cook a story, simple.. that’s a home remedy invented by me hehehe.. do lemme know if you succeed πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  5. My inspiration comes from my life experiences, some personal and some like what you mentioned, life around me. I also am inspired by people like you. Beings who are authentic and inspiring. Thanks Savio πŸ™‚
